Traveling with food like that can have some tricky logistics associated with it. Nobody wants to have gravy or cranberries spilled on the vehicle's seats or carpet. So that is why here at Grapevine Lincoln we decided to put out a few helpful tips for anyone that might be driving with food this holiday season.
The most obvious fix for anyone having to transport a prepared dish is to have a passenger hold it for them while they drive. But obviously, this isn't always an option for everyone. If you are traveling alone, the first thing that you will want to do is make sure that you have a container that is just about spill proof. And just in case your dish does tip over while you are driving, it is good to have it sitting on some old towels so that your vehicle's interior is protected. Another idea is to put your dish inside of a cardboard box that you can keep from moving by utilizing the seat belt. If the box stays still, then chances are your dish will arrive sitting upright just the way you want it.
