Specs at a Glance

The Lincoln Aviator is a striking, polished, and poised upscale SUV. The Aviator ranks #3 among midsize three-row luxury SUVs. From the base trim level up, it has all you need for a comfortable and relaxing ride. The 2021 Lincoln Aviator is the top Aviator model to date with some minor changes and adjustments to certain trims, including a revisited list of standard features and updates to several options and appearance packages.

Many advanced features are included in the Aviator, and you can choose a hybrid powertrain instead of an Aviator that uses gasoline. There are five trims available in the Lincoln Aviator in 2021, including the Standard, the base trim level, and the Grand Touring, the second trim just below the Grand Touring Black Label. The Standard is the trim to choose if you want value and a gasoline engine, while the Grand Touring has more features and a hybrid powertrain.

Performance

Performance varies depending on whether you get the Standard or the Grand Touring. The Standard uses a 3.0L engine with six cylinders. Its top capacity credentials include 400 HP and 415 LB-FT of torque. With the Grand Touring, you'll get the plug-in hybrid powertrain that delivers 494 HP. The Standard comes with rear-wheel drive, while the top trims have all-wheel drive instead. Both trims have a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

Starting on the outside, the 2021 Aviator offers a stunning exterior for both trim levels. The Standard trim is configured with LED headlights. It also comes with roof rails and an abundance of chrome accents. The Grand Touring upgrades to 22-inch wheels. Its headlights also have LED bulbs, but they have special technology that turns the headlights as you're cornering. Soft-close doors are also added to the Grand Touring.

Features

Luxury begins with the Standard and improves from there. A power liftgate is standard. The base trim also has a push-button start and a keyless ignition system. A digital instrument cluster is included in addition to the 10.3-inch infotainment system. WiFi is included, along with Android Auto, navigation, and Apple CarPlay. The base trim starts with tri-zone climate control as well. The Grand Touring has heated seats in all rows, a heated steering wheel, and heated windshield wipers. The sound system has 28 speakers, and the front seats move in 30 ways. A panoramic sunroof is added as well.
