Specs at a Glance
When it comes to moving the whole family around in luxury, Lincoln offers two three-row SUVs to consider. Both the Navigator and the Aviator are spacious, comfortable, and full of the latest in convenience and technology features. It can be difficult to decide between the two, which is why our team would like to highlight some of the differences now.
Performance
The Lincoln Aviator is a midsize three-row SUV that comes standard with a 3.0L V6. It creates 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque for smooth acceleration, both in town and on the highway. Those who opt for the Grand Touring trim level will get a hybrid variation of that engine, which gives the Aviator the ability to make 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. Most models come standard with rear-wheel drive and have the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. The Grand Touring comes exclusively with all-wheel drive.
Next up is the Navigator, which is a full-size SUV. It utilizes a turbo 3.5L V6 engine to move around. Drivers will enjoy 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque in any trim level of the Navigator they choose. Rear-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is available. Both the Aviator and the Navigator come standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Appearance
The 2022 Aviator comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels and brilliant LED headlights. It also has practical exterior features, such as roof rails and a power liftgate. This SUV goes with 20-inch wheels starting with the Reserve trim, and it also adds a panoramic sunroof.
As for the 2022 Navigator, it comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels. This SUV also has LED headlights, but they are adaptive. This means they will corner with the vehicle to help illuminate any potential obstacles. The Navigator also comes standard with a hands-free power liftgate and power-deployable running boards.
Features
Lincoln takes pride in making all of its vehicles luxurious. Leather upholstery is standard for both of these models, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A wireless device charging pad is also standard for the 2022 Aviator and the 2022 Navigator.
Those who choose the Navigator will get heated and ventilated front and second-row seats standard. These features are optional for the entry-level Aviator, and they are standard on all trims above it. Both of these SUVs are equipped with advanced safety features, including forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and a lane-keeping assist system.
